Although the cartouches have been \u201cerased,\u201d stylistically, the statue \ud80c\udd1a\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfed\ud80c\udc3e is obviously of him due to the way the chest is carved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"725\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/184015709_170299605015934_5836588553715617311_n_18154578757159175-819x1024.jpg?resize=580%2C725&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1090\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/184015709_170299605015934_5836588553715617311_n_18154578757159175.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/184015709_170299605015934_5836588553715617311_n_18154578757159175.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/184015709_170299605015934_5836588553715617311_n_18154578757159175.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/184015709_170299605015934_5836588553715617311_n_18154578757159175.jpg?resize=1229%2C1536&amp;ssl=1 1229w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/184015709_170299605015934_5836588553715617311_n_18154578757159175.jpg?resize=1200%2C1500&amp;ssl=1 1200w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/184015709_170299605015934_5836588553715617311_n_18154578757159175.jpg?w=1440&amp;ssl=1 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Petrie is credited with finding this &#8211; he found 17 \ud80c\udf86\ud80d\udc00 partial statues \ud80c\udd1a\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfed\ud80c\udc3e\ud80c\udfea of Akhenaten \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd5c\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\ude16 and Nefertiti \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\uddcd\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfed during his excavation of the city in the 1890s. He also found tons of statues \ud80c\udd1a\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfed\ud80c\udc3e\ud80c\udfea that seemed to be purposefully smashed. Akhenaten \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd5c\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\ude16 and Nefertiti \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\uddcd\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfed were definitely unpopular due to not only moving Egypt\u2019s \ud80c\udd8e\ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude96 capital but also because they changed the religion from polytheistic to the monotheistic worship of the Aten \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3.
