As many of you know, I love ushabti&nbsp;\ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e&nbsp;figures, so let\u2019s take a closer look at this one!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The text\u00a0\ud80c\udfdf\ud80c\udfdb\ud80c\udfe5\u00a0on the ushabti\u00a0\ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e\u00a0is a version of the \u201cShabti Spell\u201d from Chapter 6 of the Book of the Dead. This spell\u00a0\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc93\ud80c\udfdb\u00a0gives the ushabti\u00a0\ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e\u00a0the power to complete tasks (farming, manual labor, etc) for the deceased\u00a0\ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff1\u00a0in the Field of Reeds\u00a0\ud80c\uddcf\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude05\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\uddb0\ud80c\ude96. Many people (if they could afford it) were buried with at least 365 \ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udffe ushabti\u00a0\ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e\u00a0figures &#8211; one for each day of the year! It is part of the spell&nbsp;\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc93\ud80c\udfdb&nbsp;that says: \u201cO these shabtis, if you are counted, to do all the works to be done there in the realm of the dead.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Can you find \u201c\ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e\u201d on the piece in the picture \ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a bunch of different ways to write \u201cushabti\u201d in hieroglyphs&nbsp;\ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea!
