This is my Nonno and I with Tutankhamun&nbsp;\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udef9\ud80c\udefe\ud80c\ude7a\ud80c\uddd3&nbsp;at the British Museum! I am posting this again because today&nbsp;\ud80c\udfc7\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3&nbsp;is the 100 \ud80c\udff2 year anniversary of the discovery of&nbsp;Tutankhamun\u2019s&nbsp;\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udef9\ud80c\udefe\ud80c\ude7a\ud80c\uddd3&nbsp;tomb \ud80c\uddcb\ud80d\udc2b\ud80c\ude83\ud80c\ude50!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a child (and even now) I love the story about how\u00a0Tutankhamun\u2019s\u00a0\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udef9\ud80c\udefe\ud80c\ude7a\ud80c\uddd3\u00a0tomb \ud80c\uddcb\ud80d\udc2b\ud80c\ude83\ud80c\ude50\u00a0was discovered! The funerary mask, Anubis\u00a0\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udce3\u00a0shrine, cartouche box, and so many of the other artifacts in the tomb \ud80c\uddcb\ud80d\udc2b\ud80c\ude83\ud80c\ude50 completely fascinated me and definitely played a part in me becoming so interested in ancient Egypt\u00a0\ud80c\udd8e\ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude96\u00a0as a child. These are all very common things for pharaohs&nbsp;\ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b\ud80c\udfe6&nbsp;to wear to represent themselves as pharaoh&nbsp;\ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b, which&nbsp;Tutankhamun&nbsp;\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udef9\ud80c\udefe\ud80c\ude7a\ud80c\uddd3 felt he needed to do in order to legitimize his rule \ud80c\udefe.
