I almost feel that this picture \ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf represents how Nonno saw me, and I\u2019ve never shared it until today \ud80c\udfc7\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3 because I wanted to keep it as \u201cmine.\u201d I wish I could go back to this moment because look at the happiness \ud80c\udd2b\ud80c\udd23 and joy \ud80c\udd2b\ud80c\udd23 on my face! If you search &#8220;Hatshepsut&#8221; or &#8220;Vatican Museum,&#8221; you will be able to see my previous posts on this beautiful stela \ud80c\udf97\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udd93\ud80c\ude78!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sandstone \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udca7\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf17\ud80c\ude19 stela \ud80c\udf97\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udd93\ud80c\ude78 depicts Hatshepsut \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfb9\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd02\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3c\ud80c\udfea and Thutmosis III \ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\udda3 during their joint reign. Hatshepsut \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfb9\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd02\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3c\ud80c\udfea is wearing the blue (khepresh) crown \ud80c\udda3\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\uded9 and is making an offering of nemset jars \ud80c\udfcc\ud80c\udfcc\ud80c\udfcc to the god \ud80c\udeb9 Amun-Ra \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udffa. Thutmosis III \ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\udda3 is wearing the White Crown \ud80c\udd24\ud80c\uded1 of Upper Egypt \ud80c\uddd3!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stela \ud80c\udf97\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udd93\ud80c\ude78 was meant to commemorate restoration works in West Thebes \ud80c\udf00\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude96! Many pharaohs \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b\ud80c\udfe6 would restore the work of previous rulers \ud80c\ude0e\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udefe\ud80c\udfea to demonstrate their own power and to honor the gods \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udeb9, not to honor the previous pharaohs \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b\ud80c\udfe6!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another reason why restoring previous works and building lots of new buildings (which Hatshepsut \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfb9\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd02\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3c\ud80c\udfea did early in her reign \ud80c\ude0e\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udefe), was so significant was because it meant the name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 of the pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b (in this case, Hatshepsut) would live on since the names were part of the buildings\u2019 inscriptions \ud80c\udfdf\ud80c\udfdb\ud80c\udfe5. All of these new projects also impressed upon the common people the economic prosperity of the Hatshepsut\u2019s \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfb9\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd02\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3c\ud80c\udfea regime.
