Seti I \ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc\ud80c\ude18\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70 and Seti II \ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc\ud80c\ude18\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70 have the same birth name so we know that these cartouches belong to Seti II \ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc\ud80c\ude18\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70 based on the throne name!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These pieces are inlays of the cartouche \ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udf77 , which mean that they were once part of a larger object. Here\u2019s the birth name:&nbsp; \ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc\ud80c\ude18\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc &#8211; Belongs to Seth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\ude18- Beloved&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\ude16 &#8211; Of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70 &#8211; Ptah&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So all \ud80c\udf9f together \ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude97, the name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 reads \u201cThe one who belongs to Seth, Beloved of Ptah.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now let\u2019s look at the throne name cartouche \ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udf77! This inlay (the one on the right side) is very interesting because it is a combination of both the throne name and the birth name! Here\u2019s the throne name, which appears first: \ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd0a\ud80c\udda3\ud80c\udfe6\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude18<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\uddf3 &#8211; Ra<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udd0a &#8211; Strong One&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udda3\ud80c\udfe6 &#8211; Manifestations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16- Amun<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\ude18 &#8211; Beloved&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So all \ud80c\udf9f together \ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude97, the the name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 reads \u201cThe Strong One of the Manifestations of Ra, Beloved of Amun.\u201d The throne name is unique to Seti II \ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd0a\ud80c\udda3\ud80c\udfe6\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude18, so we know these inlays are his and not Seti I\u2019s \ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc\ud80c\ude18\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But we aren\u2019t done!!! Underneath the throne name, the birth name appears! It\u2019s so weird to see a combination cartouche \ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udf77 like this and I\u2019m not gonna lie, when I saw this for the first \ud80c\udfc3 time I was confused for a second!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the birth name (again) and this time it\u2019s a slightly different variant: \ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc\ud80c\udf58\ud80c\ude18\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udc63\ud80c\uddcc\ud80c\udf58 &#8211; Belongs to Seth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\ude18- Beloved&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\ude16 &#8211; Of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc70 &#8211; Ptah&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, if you notice in this cartouche \ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udf77, the symbol for \u201cSeth \ud80c\udc63\u201d is chiseled out.
