This is a wonderful symbol to understand the meaning of because it is everywhere!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of religious symbolism, The Djed Pillar \ud80c\udebd is thought to represent the spine of Osiris \ud80c\udc79\ud80c\udea8\ud80c\udc2d. When a person died \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff1 and became \u201cThe Osiris,\u201d The Djed Pillar \ud80c\udebd was then thought to represent their spine! The spine was thought to keep Osiris \ud80c\udc79\ud80c\udea8\ud80c\udc2d upright and able to function as the primary god \ud80c\udeb9 of the dead \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff1. This is even referenced in the The Book of the Dead: \u201cRaise yourself up Osiris. You have your backbone once more, weary-hearted One; you have bones.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take a look at the hieroglyphic meaning!
