On these necklaces \ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf62\ud80c\udfe6, the bright yellow beads are in the form of a Uraeus \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd97. A Uraeus \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd97 is usually depicted as an upright snake \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd99 and is a symbol of sovereignty, royalty, and divine authority in Egypt \ud80c\udd8e\ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude96. The Uraeus \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd97 is usually associated with the pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b, but in the later time periods also worn by women \ud80c\ude83\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc91\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc50\ud80c\udfea and certain deities \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udeb9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reddish\/brown colored beads are in the shape of a fly \ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udd91\ud80c\udd91\ud80c\udda6! Flies \ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udd91\ud80c\udd91\ud80c\udda6\ud80c\udfea were seen as an amulet \ud80c\ude90\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udd46 of protection and were possibly used to protect the wearer from insect bites. Here are some different ways to say \u201cnecklace\u201d:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udef4\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\udfba\ud80c\udedd broad collar&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udee7 necklace (menat)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udff2 necklace, collar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf62 jewelry, necklace (with stone beads)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udedd necklace<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udedd necklace<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I chose to use \u201c\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udf62\u201d when writing out this description because this word (pronounced like \u201cat\u201d) is the word specifically for a necklace \ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udedd that has stone beads \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udeaa! I figured that was a pretty close description to the artifacts in this display!
