Amenhotep III \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeb5\ud80c\udefe\ud80c\udec6 ruled during the 18th Dynasty and his rule \ud80c\udefe was a time of prosperity for Egypt \ud80c\udd8e\ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude96, especially in regards to the arts and international influence!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This piece in the video is a reconstruction of the original by the MET &#8211; the blue \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc79\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udff8\ud80c\udfe5 faience \ud80c\udee3\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff8\ud80c\udffc pieces are original, but the gold \ud80c\udede\ud80c\udcc9\ud80c\udcc9\ud80c\udcc9 and plaster are not. This beautiful \ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd91\ud80c\udc8b decoration is a reconstruction using the tiles that were found during the excavation of Amenhotep III\u2019s \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udeb5\ud80c\udefe\ud80c\udec6 palace at Malqata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is his cartouche: \ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udc67\ud80c\udfa0 &#8211; Nebmaatra\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ancientegyptblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/DF3C04F7-B2F8-4F12-B235-948AA63BBAE8.jpg?w=580&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Cartouche of Amenhotep III\" class=\"wp-image-1031\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Cartouche of Amenhotep III at the MET.
