The oval surrounding the names \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfe6 of the pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b was meant to be protection \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udfa1\ud80c\udc1c from evil \ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd68 both in life \ud80c\udef9 and in the afterlife \ud80c\uddfc\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude50. During the 18th Dynasty, the name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 of the King\u2019s Great Wife \ud80c\uddd3\ud80c\ude1e\ud80c\udfcf would also sometimes appear in a cartouche \ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udf77.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akhenaten \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd5c\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\ude16 was not a pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b that followed tradition! Akhenaten\u2019s \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd5c\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\ude16 reign \ud80c\udefe\ud80c\ude0e\ud80c\udfcf, which archaeologists sometimes refer to as the \u201cAmarna Revolution\u201d is a period of less than 20 \ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86 years which showed big changes not only to the traditional Egyptian religion, but also changes to the traditional Egyptian art.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fragment does not contain the cartouches \ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udf77\ud80c\udfe6 of the pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b Akhenaten \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd5c\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\ude16. These are two \ud80c\udffb of the \u201cearly\u201d cartouches \ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude19\ud80c\udf77\ud80c\udfe6 of the Aten \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3, as there were variations during the later part of the Amarna period.
