The Throne Name (\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd0a\ud80c\udc67\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udf49\ud80c\ude16) and the Birth Name (\ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\ude18\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udffa\ud80c\udd1f\ud80c\udef4\ud80c\uddd3) usually appear more in inscriptions \ud80c\udfdf\ud80c\udfdb\ud80c\udfe5 so let\u2019s take a closer look at the Horus Name!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Horus Name is the oldest way that a pharaoh\u2019s \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 was written\/identified and is one of five \ud80c\udffe ways to write the name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 of a pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Horus Name consists of three elements: the palace facade \ud80c\ude81, Horus the Falcon \ud80c\udd43 standing on top of the palace \ud80c\ude81, and the name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 of the pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b within the palace \ud80c\ude81. The palace \ud80c\ude81 hieroglyph \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03 is pronounced like \u201cserekh\u201d and some Egyptologists are now referring to the Horus Name as the Serekh Name.
