This beautiful \ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd91\ud80c\udc8b wooden \ud80c\uddb1\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udffa statue \ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3e is called \u201cThe Sculpted Statue of the Scribe and Architect Kha \ud80c\ude0d\ud80c\udca1\ud80c\udc3c\u201d and it is currently on display at the @museoegizio in Torino, Italy. Kha\u2019s titles included \u201cHead of the Great Place \ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udea8\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfdb,\u201d \u201cOverseer of the Works \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udc93\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc0b in the Great House \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b\u201d and \u201cRoyal Scribe \ud80c\uddd3\ud80c\udfde.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fun Fact!!! Did you know that the \u201cGreat Place \ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udea8\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfdb\u201d is how the ancient Egyptians referred to the Valley of the Kings?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kha\u2019s \ud80c\ude0d\ud80c\udca1\ud80c\udc3c high rank as an official \ud80c\udef4\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udc00 allowed for him to have an elaborate burial for himself &#8211; most Egyptians would not have been able to afford something like this!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What strikes me most about Kha\u2019s \ud80c\ude0d\ud80c\udca1\ud80c\udc3c tomb \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udde9\ud80c\ude83\ud80c\ude50 is how these wooden \ud80c\uddb1\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udffa objects (the statue \ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3e and the chair \ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udea8\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\uddb1) are so well preserved! Wood \ud80c\uddb1\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udffa is organic and can decay very quickly even Egypt \ud80c\udd8e\ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude96! The flower \ud80c\udc77\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\uddb0 collar \ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udff2 around the neck of the statue \ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3e is even still there &#8211; that\u2019s so remarkable!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also love how the ushabti \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e figures are included in this display! The ushabti \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e figures are made out of steatite \ud80c\udd6e\ud80c\ude0e\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude12\ud80c\ude8c which is a very durable type of stone \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udeaa!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is my personal photograph and original text.
