The single symbol alone (like in cartouches) would be pronounced like \u201cra\u201d or \u201cre.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201chead and neck of jackal \ud80c\udd0a\u201d symbol is a triliteral phonogram for the sounds \u201cwsr\u201d which means \u201cpowerful\u201d or \u201cstrong.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cgoddess with a feather \ud80c\udc67\u201d symbol is a determinative for \u201cMaat\u201d and is also an ideogram for the same. The word \u201cMaat\u201d can refer to the goddess or the word \u201cJustice.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cadze and block of wood \ud80c\udf49\u201d symbol is a triliteral phonogram for the sound \u201cstp.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cripple of water \ud80c\ude16\u201d is a uniliteral phonogram.
