There are Hieroglyphs \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea, and then there are Cursive Hieroglyphs!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hieroglyphs \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea, the script everyone is most familiar with, was the first \ud80c\udfc3 script used by the ancient Egyptians \ud80c\udd8e\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc00\ud80c\udc50\ud80c\udfea to write their language! There are well over 700 \ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2 unique hieroglyphs \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea and over 800 \ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2\ud80c\udff2 symbols if you count the variants! Hieroglyphs \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea were mainly used on temples \ud80c\ude5f\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude50\ud80c\udfe5, stelae \ud80c\udf97\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udd93\ud80c\ude78\ud80c\udfea, tombs \ud80c\uddcb\ud80d\udc2b\ud80c\ude83\ud80c\ude50\ud80c\udfe5, obelisks \ud80c\ude76\ud80c\ude76\ud80c\ude76, other funerary equipment&nbsp; \ud80c\ude0e\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udef4\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udead such as sarcophagi \ud80c\udf9f\ud80c\udef9\ud80c\ude16\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\udead\ud80c\udfea and other objects of all kinds!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then there are Cursive Hieroglyphs which are also known as Hieroglyphic Book Hand! This was usually used on handwritten papyri \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udf51\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfdb\ud80c\udfe6 and was a less detailed version of the traditional hieroglyphic symbols. Cursive Hieroglyphs are easy to read because these symbols match their traditional hieroglyphic counterparts!\u00a0The most difficult part can sometimes be deciphering the handwriting &#8211; a problem that we still see today even with modern written scripts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the images \ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfe6, I have the same phrases of the same phrases written in Hieroglyphs \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea and Cursive Hieroglyphs so you can visually see the comparison between the two \ud80c\udffb forms of writing!
