In order to exist, a person needed to have five \ud80c\udffe essential elements: the body \ud80c\udf9b\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udd3c, the shadow \ud80c\udd84\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udefc, the Ba \ud80c\udd61\ud80c\udfe4, the Ka (soul\/life force) \ud80c\udc93\ud80c\udfe4, and the name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">More specifically, the \u201cka \ud80c\udc93\u201d or the soul is the part of the person that interacted with others (family \ud80c\udd55\ud80c\ude54\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc00\ud80c\udc50\ud80c\udfe6, friends \ud80c\ude18\ud80c\ude07\ud80c\udc00\ud80c\udc50\ud80c\udfe6, even the pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b) and can be thought of as the offices you held in life. Usually the list of jobs\/titles\/offices would follow \u201c\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udc93\ud80c\ude16 For the Soul Of\u2026\u201d on the inscription! These memories of a person and their interactions were important to maintaining their offering cult when they died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u201cFor the Soul Of \ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udc93\ud80c\ude16\u201d could also be written as \u201c\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udc93\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udffa\u201d with the little stroke at the end! So let\u2019s take a closer look at the hieroglyphic symbols \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201cripple of water \ud80c\ude16\u201d is a phonogram sign, and it functions as a uniliteral sign. The \u201c\ud80c\ude16\u201d is associated with the sound of \u201cn!\u201d The \ud80c\ude16 has many grammatical functions on its own, and it can mean \u201cto,\u201d \u201cof,\u201d \u201cfor,\u201d \u201cwe\/us\/our,\u201d \u201cin,\u201d \u201cbecause,\u201d \u201cthrough,\u201d and some others! How do we know which word it is?
