Her throne name is \u201cMaatkare \ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udc66\ud80c\udc93\u201d which translates to \u201cTruth is the Soul of Re.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Let\u2019s take a closer look at what the symbols in her name mean:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\ud80c\uddf3 &#8211; Re<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\ud80c\udc66 &#8211; Maat (Truth)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\ud80c\udc93 &#8211; Ka (Soul)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Let\u2019s break down each of the symbols:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201c\ud80c\uddf3 sun disc\u201d symbol is an ideogram for \u201cra\u201d or \u201cre,\u201d but can also be a determinative in words such as sun, today, and for words associated with time. The single symbol alone (like in cartouches) would be pronounced like \u201cra\u201d or \u201cre.\u201d Re is written first but pronounced last due to \u201chonorific transposition\u201d &#8211; the name of the god is written first out of respect.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201c\ud80c\udc66 goddess with a feather\u201d symbol is used commonly as a determinative in the name for the goddess Maat, but is also commonly used as an ideogram for the word \u201cmaat\u201d which means \u201ctruth.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201c\ud80c\udc93 two arms\u201d symbol is a biliteral phonogram for the sound \u201cka,\u201d and also functions as an ideogram for the same. The word \u201cka\u201d has been translated into our modern languages as \u201csoul.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This is my personal photograph and original text.
