The single symbol alone (like in cartouches) would be pronounced like \u201cra\u201d or \u201cre.\u201d Re is written first but pronounced last due to \u201chonorific transposition\u201d &#8211; the name of the god is written first out of respect.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201c\ud80c\udfe0 game board and pieces\u201d is a phonogram sign. It is a biliteral sign, which means that it represents two consonants. The \u201c \ud80c\udfe0\u201d is associated with the sound \u201cmn\u201d which could be pronounced like \u201cmen,\u201d \u201cmun,\u201d \u201cmon,\u201d etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201cscarab beetle \ud80c\udda3\u201d is a phonogram sign. It is a triliteral sign, which means it represents three consonants.
