While the different variants would still be pronounced the same, they would be written with alternative symbols that have the same sound values. In the case of the&nbsp; name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 of the pharaoh \ud80c\ude50\ud80c\ude7b, they would generally be shortened.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Let\u2019s take a look at this variant of Hatshepsut\u2019s name:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\ud80c\udd02\ud80c\udfcf &#8211; Foremost (h3t)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\ud80c\udc3c\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfea &#8211; Noble Women (\u0161pss-wt)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This variant would just be pronounced as Hatshepsut (as we know her name most commonly), and translate to \u201cForemost of the Noble Women.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Here is a breakdown of the symbols, as I wrote in my previous post:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201cforepart of lion \ud80c\udd02\u201d symbol is an ideogram for the word \u201cfront\u201d and \u201cforemost.\u201d It is associated with the sound \u201ch3t\u201d which would be pronounced like \u201chat.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201cflat loaf of bread \ud80c\udfcf\u201d is a uniliteral phonogram used to represent the sound \u201ct.\u201d Here it is a phonetic complement, makes the word feminine, or its own sound value.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201cman on a chair with flail \ud80c\udc3c\u201d symbol has the sound of \u201c\u0161pss\u201d and it can be a determinative\/ideogram for \u201cnoble.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The \u201cthree strokes \ud80c\udfea\u201d symbol makes the word plural and has a phonetic value of \u201cwt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This is my personal photograph and original text.
