I don\u2019t believe I have seen anything like it outside of the Petrie Museum in London! There are 62 \ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udf86\ud80c\udffb faience \ud80c\udee3\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff8\ud80c\udffc ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e that make up their broad collar \ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udef4\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\udfba\ud80c\udedd and they come in green \ud80c\uddc5\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udd93\ud80c\udfdb and blue \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc79\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udff8\ud80c\udfe5 colors! The ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e are about 4cm in height so they are pretty tiny! I love tiny things so tiny ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e to me are just so cute!! There are also beads of many different colors that adorn the broad collar \ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udef4\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\udfba\ud80c\udedd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Normally, ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e were buried with the deceased \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff1 and were meant to be their servants in the afterlife \ud80c\uddfc\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude50. I do not know if the ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e in this broad collar are supposed to be worker ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e or are for adorning a mummy \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc79\ud80c\udd71\ud80c\udc3e for burial!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Normally ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e are buried in shabti boxes and inscribed with a spell that tells you what their function was. When Osiris \ud80c\udc79\ud80c\udea8 \ud80c\udc2d called upon the deceased \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff1 for labor, the deceased would say the spell on the ushabti \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e and it would come to life and perform the labor in place of the deceased \ud80c\udd53\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udff1!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a kid I really loved ushabtis \ud80c\uddb7\ud80c\udd3f\ud80c\udf6f\ud80c\udcc0\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfee\ud80c\udc3e because they reminded me of little dolls and my Nonno used to tell me stories about them!
