The jar has been identified as: Queen Tiye, Akhenaten&#8217;s \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd5e\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\ude16 mother \ud80c\udd50\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc50; Queen Nefertiti \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\udd24\ud80c\uddcd\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfed, his principal wife \ud80c\uddd3\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude1e; Queen Kiya, his secondary wife; and Princess Merytaten, Akhenaten\u2019s \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\uddf3\ud80c\udd5c\ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\ude16 eldest daughter whom he married later in his reign (\ud83e\udd22).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were hieroglyphs \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea on the jar to help identify the original owner, however they have been completely faded or erased. Very faint traces of hieroglyphs \ud80c\udeb9\ud80c\udf03\ud80c\udfea could identify the owned as Queen Kiya. Some argue that the face looks like Queen Tiye, and that the lid was just placed on Queen Kiya\u2019s jar. I guess we will never know for sure who the canopic jars belonged to!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The face on the lid is wearing what is called the Nubian Wig, which was very popular during the Amarna Period. There is also a hole on the forehead, where a Uraeus \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udc9d\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd97 would be.
