During the 1926-1927 dig season, 299 scarab \ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udda3 amulets \ud80c\ude90\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udd46\ud80c\udfea and stamp seals were discovered near the eastern wall of the temple \ud80c\ude5f\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\ude50. These three \ud80c\udffc scarabs \ud80d\udc0d\ud80c\udeaa\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\udda3\ud80c\udfea have her birth name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 inscribed \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udfb9\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udd02\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3c\ud80c\udfea. Her birth name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16 cartouche translates to \u201cUnited with Amun, Foremost of the Noble Women.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we were to only write the part that translates only to \u201cHatshepsut,\u201d her cartouche would look like this: (\ud80c\udd02\ud80c\udfcf\ud80c\udc3c\ud80c\udfea). Why is Amun \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16\ud80c\udc2d mentioned in her name \ud80c\udc8b\ud80c\ude16? By adding Amun \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16 to her name, she directly linked herself to the god \ud80c\udeb9 Amun \ud80c\uddcb\ud80c\udfe0\ud80c\ude16.
